The Transformation of Landscape Painting in the Yuan Dynasty and the Rise of Literati Painting

Lecturer, Academy of Fine Arts, Minzu (Minorities) University of China, Beijing

Dr. Panchao Zhao received his Ph.D. in Arts from Tsinghua University of Beijing in 2010, and is a lecturer in the Academy of Fine Arts, Minzu University of China. There he also is a consultant for Chinese Minority Art journal. He researches the history and theory of Chinese art, and  has published two books,  Research on Paintings of the Yuan Dynasty and The Writing Course for Art Thesis. He also is a painter in the literati tradition.  



The Study of Costumes Appearing in Paintings for Daoist Water-and- Land Ceremonies in the Ming Dynasty

Ph.D. candidate, Fashion Culture Industry and Artistic Design, Donghua University, Shanghai

Ms. Niu Meng has published more than 20 papers in major journals, and has received over 20 awards in provincial-level design competitions. She also has served as Editor-in-Chief of Packing Design, a national planning textbook published by China University of Communications Press. Her current research projects include “Exploration of a Market-Oriented Teaching Model for Packing Design,” with support from China’s Ministry of Education, and “Education Reform for Art Related Majors in Higher Education.”
