EAS Winter Brown Bag Lecture Series 

Description:

Zhao Zhong is an environmentalist from China. In 2009, he was named a “Hero of the Environment” by Time magazine. Zhao Zhong is currently a Humphrey Fellow at the University of California, Davis. The talk will introduce what water crisis is happening in China, which is much worse than California drought. While the global capital is worsening the situation, civil resistance can be the bottom-up solution.
